Fukuoka CampusProfessor Shinji Kawamura visits I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA)

From Wednesday, March 26th to Friday, March 28th, 2025, Professor Shinji Kawamura of the Department of Department of Radiological Technology Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology visited I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) for research exchange. This is his third visit to KSMA, following last year's KSMA 85th anniversary ceremony and Scientific Conference.
During this visit, three lectures were given to residents in the Department of Radiology, as well as a research meeting, a visit to the National Hospital, and interviews. At the research meeting, KSMA researchers introduced their research and exchanged views with KSMA researchers in the fields of Radiation, Scientific Research, Clinical Engineering, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy. President Gudaibergenova Indira Orozovaevna and Vice President for International Affairs Gzmalieva Gulmira Artykbayevna expressed their expectations for further development of research exchanges in the future.

Our university signed a MOU with KSMA in May 2024 and will continue to promote further exchanges.
