April 1, 2025
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Teikyo University's Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization (hereinafter referred to as RIAT) announced the selection of recipients for the 2025 RIAT Incubation Grant and Team Research Grant.
The Incubation Grant aims to bring together the power of our university as a comprehensive university to increase the value of our valuable research seeds and utilize that knowledge to solve various social problems, and to support the launch of collaborative research in line with the philosophy of the Institute of Advanced Science and Technology, while demonstrating our university's superiority through collaborative research. The Team Research Grant aims to support interdisciplinary research that combines the humanities and sciences and transcends faculties, departments, and campuses, with the aim of improving the research capabilities of individual researchers through university-wide cooperation, while at the same time improving the research capabilities and revitalizing research activities at the university as a whole.
In light of each of these objectives, the Management Council reviewed researchers who gave poster presentations at the 7th Research Exchange Symposium, held on Friday, August 30, 2024, as eligible applicants for this program.
As a result of the review, 20 new incubation grants and 13 new team research grants were awarded for fiscal year 2025. Additionally, 56 previously selected research projects were extended, with 39 teams receiving grants, as it was confirmed that all of these projects have the potential to develop into future collaborative research.
