Special lecture by Masayuki Iwade, former head coach Rugby Football Club

Overview

The Teikyo University Rugby Football Club, which has many players from Kyushu, has produced many professional rugby players and Japan national team players. Masayuki Iwade, former head coach of the rugby club and Secretary General of the university's Sports Bureau Rugby Football Club who achieved brilliant results including nine consecutive victories in the National University Rugby Championship, will give a special lecture at Fukuoka Campus.

Secretary General Iwade, who has led the university's Rugby Football Club team for 26 years as head coach, is the first Secretary General of the university's new organization, Sports Bureau, which was established in April 2022. He is responsible for overseeing and promoting sports, including building governance for university sports, supporting students in balancing their studies with sports and careers, and creating a safe and secure environment, as well as collaborating with outside organizations and contributing to society. Why not take this opportunity to hear from Secretary General Iwade, the "strong man" who led the university Rugby Football Club to become the best in Japan?
